The situation is similar to Windows XP: if the system is in German, then it is also Outlook Express. The user interface of OE Classic is optional in German or English. On the other hand, the 32-bit OE Classic was satisfied with 11MB of RAM on our test PC. Windows XP can run in a virtual machine, as in VirtualBox, but that costs a few hundred megabytes (MB) of RAM. Since the support will end in 2014, it will no longer receive updates – working here is also not very interesting due to operational shortcomings. Installing OE Classic is much safer and more resource efficient than installing Windows XP.
